Há muitos anos, conheci uma finlandesa, estudante Erasmus no IST. Perguntei-lhe o q achava de Lisboa e ela respondeu q era uma cidade bonita mas q lhe custava ter tão poucas árvores. Ela tinha razão e eu genuinamente nunca tinha reparado no deserto lisboeta

With the pandemic getting started and Trump on his way out, it amazes me how prescient it is
What could the grandfather have done differently? What should we be doing, as countries get bombed based on vibes?

Tens sim, até fui confirmar. Fazes Lisboa - Beja (e vice versa) em pouco mais de 2h. Tens de trocar na Casa Branca e não é ideal, mas dá para os Portalegrenses se roerem de inveja ;)

They also evaluated leaning using both an LLM-based classifier and human coders. LLM was much more likely to consider as neutral content that humans saw as biased. There were also important differences when considering all suggestions or only the ones that appeared in the top 3

It turns out that they do. And the more "personalized" the bots, the more "personalized" the results: bots that are deployed from different locations, use local languages and have a history of news consumption (blue) are shown significantly different results when querying on the conflict

By developing a bot system that can pretend to be human, Iris and her colleagues can do these comparisons at scale. In particular, they asked if queries for terms such as "Israel" or "Gaza" were offered different results and leanings if asked from different locations and using different languages

To another who asked me out on a date during class

To the teacher who assured my classmate that his 100% grade was higher than my 100%

These broligarchs are seriously concerned with the #DSA #DMA #AIAct rules on transparency and accountability. MZ refers to the EU fines as tariffs and is clearly expecting Trump to fight them
