This clever cat in the temple sat by the pool waiting for me. When I approached, it meowed, jumped in, and rubbed its head against the faucet switch to signal me to turn on the water.

After painting this piece, I realized that my biggest problem with gouache is that I added too much water. I’m too used to watercolor, so I often use a little bit of pigment with a lot of water.
But that’s okay; I’ll do better on the next one!

Gouache is so difficult for me....maybe it means I need to spend more time with it....lol

This is my OC named 夏 (Xia), which means summer.
Although they have a female body, their chromosomes are XY, which is indicative of AIS (Androgen Insensitivity Syndrome). They are a traveling merchant.

I don’t understand why people prefer cotton pulp paper over wood pulp paper. I believe watermarks are essential to watercolor, and it's easier to create them on wood pulp paper.
