We are traveling to Vienna, Austria today, which means getting from our Kuhdorf on the Pacific coast to the airport on the Indian Ocean, climbing from sea level to a 1400 m mountain pass, then down again through an ancient caldera.
Google maps is overly optimistic: this will take 4+ hours by car.

We are traveling to Vienna, Austria today, which means getting from our Kuhdorf on the Pacific coast to the airport on the Indian Ocean, climbing from sea level to a 1400 m mountain pass, then down again through an ancient caldera.

Today our Honda C50 was delivered after 11 years of retirement + months long restoration.
Our teenager must now learn the perks of riding a classic motorbike: kickstarting, changing gears via foot pedal and knowing when to refill the tank, not to speak of avoiding burns from the exhaust 😀
