Had the chance to visit London recently, and I enjoyed it very much. Wondered what might happen given the current polls that show Reform UK and their right-wing agenda in the lead...

7. The REAL reason for visiting Paris was one of the few concerts of a certain all-female K-Pop Band in Europe. Quite different culture...

6. I recently learned that Sacre Coeur on top of the Montmatre is the most visited sight in Paris, in spite of being an "active" church with perpetual adoration of the Blessed Sacrament. Really liked going there and continuing through Montmatre before 9 a.m. with very few tourists present.

5. Grandeur of Versailles. Arts, mirrors, representation, gardens. Zeus being nourished by cornucopia.
When does a revolution become inevitable?

4. Excerpt from "La Fée Électricité" by Raoul Dufy in the Musée d'Art moderne de Paris. Science communication of a different kind.

3. We also went to see Sainte Chappelle. Color, light, transcending art and culture.

2. Within 5 years of a devastating fire, Notre Dame de Paris was rebuilt. Chapeau! And stunningly beautiful.
It was my first visit inside of the Cathedral, having secured reservations for access one minute past midnight a couple of days in advance.

1. We got around with public transport. Including the trips to and from Paris. What is it that France did that made their transportation system so much more reliable and resilient? Wise and early investments in infrastructre, I assume. Trains, Metro, buses on time, clean + functioning technology.

Evening stroll after a busy day in/near Prague.
Functioning public transport, 21st-century payment methods, and a beautiful city, of course 👍
