Have left my passport on the plane and my phone on the plane, different flights. I have a bit of a reputation for being a disaster, but yeah, always got them back 🤞

One of my favourite places. Beautiful looking over to the Alhambra from that hill in the evening when it’s lit up

Up to you but I’d be more concerned about the food you eat and the air you breathe than a vaccine that will stop you getting measles

The problem with even addressing this is that it gives the ridiculous anti-science arguments weight.

Lived in this part of the world for a year when I was younger. So many spectacular places to visit.

There are a few exceptions for sure 😉

I feel there wasn’t a song from this album that didn’t feature in an advert, or episode of a tv series, or film between 1999-2001. If I hear anything from Play I’m instantly transported back in time.

There are a few songs on there that I still have on my regular playlist. I’m probably going to go with The Only Living Boy in New York but was a tough choice

When I first started teaching, I gave my S3 the task of presenting on someone from the past who made a difference. I spoke to them about Sophie Scholl and loads of them picked her. Too often we forget to talk about ordinary people building resistance & fighting - but it’s vital.

Totally agree with your point that we should all be reflecting on what it means for national security, and what it means to live in a world with rogue states in the modern time

I feel like we’re told what to care about. Things move so quickly away from common discourse, and maybe social media is partly to blame for that. But if what happened in Lebanon was still in the news every day, I think a lot of people would be vocal in their condemnation

I was going to say that it’s crazy the kind of people who end up in powerful positions- but then look at the state of the world! My guy was crazy, total egomaniac, and made us give presentations etc for a job that was pretty vague and not very well paid.

I’ve just realised that my bio is quite confusing 🤦🏻‍♀️When I say I’m an English teacher, I mean I teach English. I’m Scottish. Should probably change that!

I voted yes and always would. I think my view of the SNP is maybe slightly less easy - I see it as a vehicle for independence, but I don’t think they go far enough for radical change that is so desperately needed in Scotland. I think there would be a split within the SNP in an independent Scotland

Oh same! I do Duolingo and go to a class one evening a week but progress is slow
