Unfortunately, we just heard that it appears the West Caldwell Town Council is re-introducing proposed Ordinance 1898, which imposes unconstitutional restrictions on the rights of assembly and free speech (i.e., demonstrations) TONIGHT WITHOUT ANY CHANGES TO THE ORIGINAL PROVISIONS.

We are facing a potential collapse of dv services nationwide - funds are being slashed, censorship prevents us from doing the job, awarded funds aren't being paid out, and no RFPs are coming out for grant cycles that we are counting on to start in 2 weeks. Thank you for bringing attention to this.
