These CA tomato pickers make 86¢ per bucket. The worker runs back to try and make as many buckets as they can. Because of the hot weather they often only work 4 to 5 hours a day, so every bucket counts towards paying their bills. #WeFeedYou

Our hearts are heavy for the grieving family of Jaime Alanis, who died from injuries sustained during a chaotic raid on Thursday.

We will do everything we can to support them. We continue to work with the hundreds of farm worker families navigating the aftermath of this violent raid.

It's peak cherry picking season in WA. If workers work super fast they can make extra money during these 4 -6 weeks. "Leo" says he's earning $4.50/22 lb bucket. He's managing to pick 55-65 buckets/day. It's supposed to pass 100° next week. #WeFeedYou

Farm workers are being terrorized, imprisoned, and deported without due process. Trump's immigration sweeps unjustly target farm workers, Latinos and other vulnerable communities. This goes against American values. This July 4th weekend, take action and message your Congress Members. Link below. ⬇️

I am grieving the barbarism that is going to unfurl from all this. People are going to die. Livelihoods gone. All to feed a corrupt kleptocracy.

I see every day up close how different it is from the first time around. There are no guardrails. A disaster. I’m sorry we have to live through this.

The workers who feed America go to work in fear. We’ve seen these unconstitutional and unamerican tactics before, with Border Patrol targeting random farm workers and anyone with brown skin in Kern County during their large sweep in January. We sued then and we are suing now. 1/

These are the hands of a tomato picker. The harvest season in CA's Central Valley lasts around 5 months. Her hands are this color throughout. She washes her hands all the time, but they stay green during the season. It eventually fades off wants to season ends. #WeFeedYou

Central Valley sweet potato workers in are on a planting machine. The plants have to be precisely spaced apart as they are dropped into the pre-dug holes. It's very tedious work as workers can't even miss one hole. It's even harder when it's hot as there is no shade. #WeFeedYou

We are posting this placard at all of our offices and asking our union contract farms to post as well.

We encourage our friends to put up similar placards at their business as immigration agents do not have the right to go on private property without permission.
