I received my MOS Kim-1 as a birthday present when I was in high school. I had to make my own power supply for it and quickly also made the two common upgrades: doubling the RAM to 2 K-Bytes by piggybacking onto the original 8 SRAM chips, and hacking the cassette recorder interface to speed it up.
Kim-1 Bare board microcomputer from 1976 that does not have the modifications I made to mine. It is a large green printed circuit board using older through-hole technology. In the top left are three large ceramic integrated circuits: the 6502 microprocessor, and below that, two 6530 ROM/RAM-I/O-timer chips. The middle top is a column of 1Kbit SRAM DIPs and the top right has the MOS Kim-1 logo as well as the quartz crystal package for the clock-oscillator, some resistors and transistors for the LED display, plus a few other integrated circuits that included an address decoder. The middle of the right side has a row of six 7-segment LED displays of the type used in calculators for numbers only, but which in this computer were also used to show crude words along with hexadecimal numbers. The bottom right is the keypad with two rows of command keys above the hexadecimal keys. The bottom left quadrant of the circuit board has the cassette tape-recorder interface with 8 small integrated circuit DIPs, an adjustable potentiometer, and many small resistors and yellow cylindrical capacitors of various sizes.

We can coordinate the text color with Trump's orange face
Classic LBJ campaign pin that says "in your guts you know he's nuts" but with Goldwater's image replaced by Trumps. I also changed the red text to orange to match Trump's face.
