It's probably the track I've listened most to off of Steep Stims. The fun of making it definitely shines through and gets me motivated to go get up and get something started every time. I can't help but think of ~2014 era SOPHIE in the last third, as well.

Yeah, that latency feel is a concern for sure, unless player actions are quantized as well which of course doesn't lend itself well to a platformer. I think there was a shmup by cactus back in the day that had quantized shooting, which was pretty sweet
