Penny’s scale of acceptability: bicycles & motorcyles = bad, mopeds & electric scooters = very bad, skateboards = unacceptable. However, my city dog has no problem with snowmobiles.

The EIS symbol is a shoe with a hole worn in the sole, to signal they wear out shoes tracking down the causes of outbreaks. They serve 2 years on the promise to go anywhere with almost no notice. They ended smallpox, identified HIV, beat back polio, solved dozens of new diseases. Without them? Oof.
