I have a ways to go. But Phase One is underway!

Thankfully, my children learned to swim. And my grandson is a competitive swimmer! I was watching the grands swimming in their community pool where they have a membership, and I couldn't help thinking how far we've come as a family and a country. There's hope. So much hope!

Celebrating 37 years of marriage with this guy. I wouldn't trade these years, the joy, the tears, for anything!

School is canceled in my area today. I'm watching the snow fall gently, snuggled in my cozy soft robe. It's so quiet, you can hear the birds. This is a gift. My heart needs it.

I started making a blanket for my 1 year old granddaughter a while ago, but so much busyness has kept me from finishing. But it's Christmas Eve, and I am determined! My grandkids all love to snuggle under my crocheted blankets. I try to update as they grow. She's outgrown her newborn blanket.

Happy 2nd birthday to my grandson, Jeremiah. These babies bring so much to our lives. He's so full of energy and joy!

Put up my second tree this morning at 3am. Sometimes insomnia is a gift. Yesterday was amazing. Great food and famulily! Today, I will rest and do nothing!
