I'm so sad by how thoroughly shit the web has become.
A dialog on a website that reads: You entered an email address on our site and we would like to send you specific information about your visit and interests that you have shown. Your contact details will not be used for any other purpose, and you can opt out at any time. You can click "I consent" or a tiny X on the top-right corner. A newspaper website. In the background is not the article, but a notice saying "this article requires a subscription". (Fair enough.) Overlaid on that is a dialog: "it looks like you're using an ad blocker" with a prompt to turn off your ad blocker. Overlaid on *that* is *another* dialog "We would like to show you notifications", with "Allow" in high contrast and "No thanks" text that doesn't look like a button.

@loicaroyer.bsky.social Neat! I'm curious about the rendering parameters/tricks e.g. to get such sharp lines at the big-cube borders — they (correctly?) look razor-thin in @napari.

Ok so I'm fucking done with streaming generally and #applemusic specifically. The greyed out songs are actually *purchases* from the iTunes days, supposedly DRM-free. But #apple won't sync them because I’ve moved countries? Fuck that shit.
