Yeah, in a way having these absurd penalties attached makes it easier to fight them but it also significantly raises the stakes because it’s disastrous if they do pass

I handle med mal cases and this proposed bill is insane. Prevailing plaintiff entitled to MIN $500k and requires award for economic, noneconomic, AND punitive damages to be trebled. I’ve never heard of trebling punitive damages, it’s typically one or the other, if even allowed. These people are evil
