@vanhollen.senate.gov - Senator, I have a question. If I were to show up at a federal agency and demand access w/o proper credentials or clearance - I would be turned away and/or arrested. Can anyone explain why this didn't happen? Someone should be in handcuffs by now, yes?

Federal employees should not pledge their allegiance to the sitting president. They should pledge their allegiance to the Constitution and the law. Unfortunately, some Januarys, those two statements are mutually exclusive.

Like many seniors, my MIL gets scam calls every day. She makes two mistakes.
1- she assumes people are honest and good (they aren't).
2- she tries to be nice to them.
I asked her to treat them like they were trying to grab her purse on the street (I don't think she can).
It's a recipe for disaster.
