Applied hatching practice!
This was done with Zebra's Sarasa Grand. A big ol gel pen that I highly recommend. It dries super fast, too.
Anyway, worm dog critter. Is it cute or absolutely not? I was debating putting a lil birthday cone hat on the second pic.

Description: A phantom lounging next to what seems to be a live, ready to explode bomb. They're in a wide grassy field littered with craters. The phantom seems to be painted, with each part of their body a different color. In the field, near craters, are patches of similar color. Lore: This creature here, as a "phantom", is immortal. "Why" is a whoooole other subject, but the result is that- when given the right conditions- they can redevelop from any death. If death is nearly without consequences, why not do crazy experiments in which the phantom subject SURELY will not survive, but you'll collect plenty of (potentially) useful data from? Again, the subject will be fine after given, at worst, a few months. In this specific image, a phantom is about to be blown up. The weird paint scheme is actually to help those collecting the data to retrieve and quickly identify the bits of remains. They're likely measuring the specific anatomical damage of this explosion. Whatever it is, the subject doesn't seem very interested or enthused.
