I love writing because I get to engage with so many other people’s brilliant ideas and read about cool research. I hate editing papers because I have to engage with my very familiar ideas and read the same thing 300 times.

Particularly without serious regulation…
I think they’re here to stay, but it’s worth remembering (and this will become increasingly apparent in the years to come) that, despite some clear benefits, LLMs/large AI models are a net negative for society and it’s not even close.
