As Trump campaign folks mentioned, under Biden, Team Trump was COASTING to a win and even expanding the map. When VP entered the race, she quickly consolidated Dem and Dem leaning independents who were looking at 3rd party candidates leaving a narrow 2% of undecided for the campaigns to fight over.
Kamala Harris inherited a campaign way behind in the polls and, in just 107 days:
Came within 114,885 voters switching in MI, PA, & WI from winning
Had one of the smallest swings against an incumbent party candidate worldwide
Got over 75 million votes
Outran House Dems in both % & margin

Remember, Tulsi Gabbard claimed Assad didn’t use chemical weapons, it was “the rebels.”

Her confirmation hearing will be brutal, if she even makes it to there

Michael Barone seems to be saying that white college graduates voted less for Harris than for Obama. I can't find the 2012 education by race exit poll numbers but almost certainly Barone's wrong here. Harris won white college grads 53-45. Almost certainly higher than for Obama against Romney.

Not to pat myself on the back, but I’m a very empathetic person. So I knew subconsciously I wouldn’t talk to Kamala Harris about her campaign when we talked on Friday night because I didn’t want to add to her pain by bringing it up. We had a great conversation and I’ll always be thankful for that.

I’m seeing everyone from Bernie to Whitmer talking about working with Trump and the one Democratic leader I’m seeing who’s emphasizing the importance of continuing to fight on policy is Kamala Harris. Kamala Harris is the leader Democrats need right now.
