It’s hard to get someone to understand that PGT-A does not improve live birth rates when their salary depends on selling it as a miracle solution. The resistance to question it comes from a business model built on complexity and the illusion of genetic control.

Are fertility clinic networks overvalued? From an economic standpoint, many are: Acquired at sky-high multiples (EBITDA x15+); Heavy reliance on fertility tourism & aggressive marketing; Real margin per cycle is low (human + tech intensive); Scaling often means losing clinical quality

LLMs can boost diagnostic accuracy, but only if you think critically. A trial just showed that language model can improve diagnostic reasoning in med trainees.
Conclusion? They’re not a crutch. They’re a catalyst.

The more PGT-A a clinic uses, the worse their live birth rates.
And the most harmed? A massive CDC-based study just confirmed what many suspected: PGT-A is overused, underperforming, and driven by profit. Clinics owned by venture capital use it the most.
