Before I go to bed, I was thinking of that one beta shark Pokémon with the anchor tail, and I ended up giving it a cool signature Ability.
Don't ask me how Dragon Tail works, the Bulbapedia article for "Bound" didn't tell me how moves that force the target out work with binding specifically.
Hook Tail Hook Tail is the signature Ability of Angore. This Pokémon's damaging tail moves additionally bind the target for four to five turns, doing 1/8th of its HP in damage each turn. This is affected by the held items Grip Claw and Binding Band. Tail moves include Tail Whip, Iron Tail, Poison Tail, Aqua Tail, Dragon Tail, Tail Slap, and Shed Tail. Oh you know I'm a sucker for hypothetical Pokémon stuff! I'd love to see more! In fact, I got inspired myself (only a little).
Venusaur - Grass/Poison New Moves * Ancient Power - Egg * Aromatherapy - Lvl 44 (replaces Worry Seed) * TM103 Sludge Wave * Chloropulse - Upon Evolution (replaces Petal Blizzard) New Signature Move - Chloropulse Type: Grass | Category: Special Power: 80 | Accuracy: 100% | PP: 15 Description: The user blasts the target with stored solar energy. This move's power is boosted by 50% in harsh sunlight. Technical Notes: If the user is holding an Utility Umbrella, it doesn't receive the 50% damage boost. This move's power is boosted by 50% if the user has the Ability Mega Launcher. Inspiration: Venusaur is known to absorb sunlight to get more powerful. Specifically, it's strongest during the summer, when the sunlight is at its harshest. Its primary role in singles is to be a Chlorophyll Sweeper as well. Considering all this, a move that interacted with harsh sunlight was the call. Luckily, Hydro Steam already existed, so here's a Grass-type version.

I made some dark bricks for my town of Reverie (I don’t have Nintendo’s online service, and I don’t plan to until the Switch’s successor is truly shown off.)
