I agree, let’s come up with a plan to have the uber-rich pay their fair share of taxes. But I feel it would be easier to have churches pay their portion first. Especially the uber-rich churches.

Telling my 7yo daughter that I love her in German. She reciprocates with “Icky little bitch.” I don’t think foreign languages are her forte.

Just got accused of being “one of those woke people” by a coworker. All because I said wouldn’t “belt my kids” for talking back to me. If not beating my children for having their own opinions makes me woke, I think I’m cool with that.

I am aware that I’m no good at small talk.

Looking for a job is helping me to improve my poker face. Listening to an employer whine about how “people just don’t want to work nowadays” and not reacting to that nonsense, while in a job interview, is difficult. I should craft a way to express this new found skill on my resumé.

Employer red flag:
Employer-“I don’t want my employees having to go into bad neighborhoods.”
Me-“Like, what neighborhoods do you mean?”
Employer-“The places where only, maybe, one white family lives.”
Me-“Um…”
Employer-“You know what I mean.”
