So my mom tried to install the AARP app on her iPhone 7 and it told her her phone is too old. (7 Support ends at iOS 15.8.3).

My letter to the editors of the Post:
To the Editors of the Post: Regarding your ownership’s decision to override the Post’s editorial endorsement of Kamala Harris and Tim Walz for President and Vice President of the United States: The Post tried to meet the moment eight years ago when you created the slogan “Democracy Dies in Darkness.” It was a brilliant adoption of a phrase that not only described the Post’s mission, but the mission of the entire American free press. Unfortunately, the last few years of political discourse within and without your publication have eroded that mission and let fascism take a foothold in the American political consciousness. The press is supposed to be a bulwark against the forces that seek to destroy the American way of life. Yet, the Post has now been stained by its own ownership; marked as a doormat for the doom of human freedom in the United States. Every employee at the Post should be ashamed of who they work for. The stakes were high, and you folded. Democracy will indeed die in darkness. It is dispiriting that the Post, the one paper that stood up to a criminal President 50 years ago on behalf of America, is the one who turned out the lights on us all today. We will continue to fight. However, I am devastated that the Post has decided to abandon us at the moment of our greatest peril. Resign your positions, or enjoy wallowing in your cowardice.
