How can we communicate to everyone effectively that the modern Democrat party is NOT socialism by any world definition (they fall center-right on most scales)? Like, democrats that want progress need to be informed of this, as much as "i'm center right, i won't vote socialist" types.

I was raised republican. My stance on human rights (lgbtetc+ and non-white humans) made me already pretty well question things. I have NEVER supported Trump, and he has made me very Democrat, and beyond that wishing that the Democratic party were actually left instead of center-right.

I'm sick of the crazy definition of machismo that has come about - the brash, loud, violent overconsumption. I wish that we could redefine it. Really, the true measure of man (genderless) needs to be this: "Does the right thing, even when doing the wrong thing would have no consequence."

I've been reading a lot about food domestication, and it seems like so many scholarly books minimize the magic that the indigenous Americans did with maize, tomatoes, potatoes, squash, beans, etc, and really selling up the early western world domestication. I wish humans could confront and fix bias.
