Calgary has had almost complete clouds for 2 months. I've been working on a 6 panel mosaic of the Heart and Soul nebula in the northern skies.

A 'freedom' score for countries. Defined as the absence of coercive restraint. Out of 165 countries Canada ranks #11, better than the US and UK at 17.
Perhaps someone could mention this to the UCP and our #Ditchbillies?

The RAH site does a lot of these in AB - more than any other. They have stopped doing them since July 2024. The impact of this can be seen in the attached graph.
The closure of this site has halved the number of such surgeries in the YEG zone - roughly 2500/yr.

This is an incredible figure. In it you can see that detection of influenza(s) dropped (worldwide almost) to zero during pandemic precautions.
Nothing we have done before has achieved this.
Even more incredible is what looks like the extinction of one virus. /2
