Part of the reason is that Merrick Garland sat on his hands for almost two years before doing anything against trumpf. Only after the House committee spelled out trump’s involvement in January 6th and the horde of stolen classified documents were retrieved, did he finally get off dead center.

I think to deal is worth it’s weight in gold. Government open, snap starts, air travel restarting, house in session, new rep sworn in, 218 votes to release Epstein files, promise to allow vote in senate on extending health subsidies and if any thing goes wrong, republicans eat the problem.
