This feels true to me.

Following the election, I was deeply saddened and horrified at the apparent outcome. There is much work to be done, and I welcome ideas to make our Federal government one that is truly of, by and for “the people”. Meanwhile, we need to resist fascism and work toward a better, more just future!

When very young, I heard the phrase “guerrilla warfare” and imagined it involved fights between actual gorillas! Oh the imagination of youth! 😦

When I was young, I thought the “bar association” was a group of benevolent tavern owners who met periodically to decide weighty legal matters. 🤭

Pleased that Assad of Syria has been toppled. Not sure what happens next, but it gives me hope for the future of that region.

Just joined BlueSky recently, looking to move away from that other rather “toxic” platform. So far, so good.
