The Carers Scotland team were in Edinburgh to coordinate the carers bloc at the Scotland Demands Better march on Saturday.
We were among the thousands of people who joined the march demanding changes to improve the quality of life for the people of Scotland.

An amazing experience doing a run on the Glasgow airport runway this morning.
Definitely worth giving up a full night’s sleep to get started at 3 o’clock in the morning to enjoy the rare privilege of being on the runway.

We are welcoming the news that he Scottish Government has committed to matching the UK Government by raising the earnings threshold for Carers Support Payment today in the draft Scottish Budget.
The Carers Parliament is by far the most fun part of my job. Carers voices are directly being heard by politicians.
It has been so powerful hearing from so many passionate carers today, raising their questions and concerns to Maree Todd MSP and Councillor Paul Kelly at the #CarersParliament.
