If you're content to completely remove duty on diesel and petrol, and move ALL vehicles to the same 10p per mile additional tax on top of their normal vehicle excise duty... That would be a completely fair option....

That one part "no taxation is ringfenced anywhere it all goes into the pot" is part of the issue... The energy used to charge an EV is already taxed, and this seems to be another ill-considered money-grabbing exercise by the government.

How many new roads are being built? Maintenance of roads is carried out by local authorities, but that maintenance is not paid for by taxes on fuel or the annual 'car tax', and comes out of the local authorities budget

The single most complicated formula checked if any of 3 adjacent cells had a certain value, and if so returned zero, else provided the value of another cell, in a sheet that wasn't 500 rows by a dozen or so static columns.

Are you experiencing Excel crashing to desktop or refusing to de-select cells until a separate worksheet is selected and then just not showing the cell selection at all, even with the most basic of workbooks? That was my day yesterday...

The issue is mostly because the developing studios refuse to enable the anti-cheat system to run on Linux. (Bungie/Destiny2 for example). The framework is already there, provided by the anti-cheat system developers. www.gamingonlinux.com/2021/09/batt...
