My dear UIUC library colleagues, what the what? I just got a donor solicitation in the mail for your capital campaign with the sweetener that I will receive a box of 19th C University receipts if I donate. This is the most bonkers donor gift I've ever seen. Is it ridiculous? Is it genius? Yes.
