Favorite of all time? I don’t know - too many great records. But Ahmad Jamal’s Alhambra is one that’s stayed in rotation over the years.

Oh wow, that’s a tough one. For me it’s Monk. The angular melodies, disjoint harmonies, and jolting rhythms get me every time. Super unique but makes total sense. If you like Monk, you might check out Herbie Nichols. Not as well known but did his own thing and compositions are quite interesting
