My amazing HS chemistry recently retired which led us to do the math. Our first period class was in a room with a 1920s wrought iron fire escape. She would often climb it, ten minutes late, hung over, and bang on the door for us to let her in. She was 23.

So I often yell words of affirmation to you while I listen to the podcast. Mostly “oh man, someone else remembered that?” Ten year old me had such a crush on Elizabeth Pena in Batteries Not Included. When you brought up your love for her, I felt seen.

It’s amazing the list of folks who are truely friends of the show. That fit in effortlessly, are funny, and are friends of you guys off mic. Chris may be at the top of my list for that. He could easily be the fifth mic.

Thank you for my new obsession. Map’s resolution isn’t good enough for me to get particularly granular on location, which makes me mad. But this game was otherwise made for me!!!!

Mike Mills of R.E.M. listened to me and my friend gush about how they were the soundtracks of our lives. When we apologized he said “Hey. It never gets old hearing your work reached someone.” Later when he got on stage and saw us, gave us a big “hey guys” like we were life long friends.
