I stitched together a few videos I took earlier today. All of them were recorded just across the street from us in Georgetown TX. This is the San Gabriel River.
The drop is normally about 60 feet, but it’s already filled to at least 40 feet—and it may rise even higher.

We inspected the San Gabriel River around 2:00 PM. Since this morning, the water level appears to have risen by approximately 10 feet. We’ve been informed that the river has now crested.

I shot these clips around 7:30 PM CDT Colleen Forrester and I took one last walk along the edge of the San Gabriel River for the day.
The water level has dropped significantly since this afternoon, but it remains dangerously high.
