One of my dreams is that all Americans understand what is regulated by the government and what is controlled by the private sector. Politicians frequently make promises about things they have absolutely no control over. Wouldn’t it be amazing if people were no longer deceived by these statements?

The Toledo Zoo has a lovely garden where I used to take my children and read to them. We called it the Secret Garden as we were so frequently undisturbed. I was fortunate enough to befriend the head gardener. He taught me many things and shared seeds. Treasured memories indeed.
