Big day in the office. 50+ Healthcare Assistants crash a board meeting. The Trust emailed all staff this morning. In it they tried to dupe members into accepting an inferior deal, which they are now trying to impose, with no consultation.
They should know by now that HCAs will put up a fight.

Merry Christmas all. An old CNT veteran once told me that not only did they not celebrate Christmas, but that any gifts they received from friends had to be returned! Hope all revolutionaries are maintaining discipline today 👀

Been working like an absolute demon, so had a much needed weekend away with great company.
Went to the (beautiful) Gate picture house in Notting Hill to watch Conclave.
Then it was double celebrations; 10th birthday of the Mayday Rooms and @sethnotes.bsky.social reached half a centenary!

This didn't dispirit them- an impromptu meeting was called where the workers voted to launch a strike pledge to escalate their campaign for pay justice.
