I did. Very easy to do in light of the lectionary gospel reading. In fact, it would have been harder to not mention her than to talk about it.

During some much needed time off between Christmas and New Year’s, I’ve made the decision to enter a short period of intentional denial. Unfortunately, the realization of what’s soon to come occasionally creeps back in, bringing with it a deep sense of dread. I hate that.
