So turns out the first Bubsy on Genesis does technically have the debug mode too! You just have to change a value in the game's RAM (more specifically change the value to 1D on hexadecimal 0x0008).

You can't place any objects at all, but you can fly around at the very least! So that's neat.

Through the power of fiddling with the game's RAM, I have turned the first Bubsy game into an auto-runner. It's the predecessor to Paws on Fire we didn't think we want lmao
