I think Garland will always be seen as a complete failure due to his handling of the Trump cases and the devastation to our country. His record with the DOJ prior to his being the Attorney General is second to none. But he was the wrong man for the job.

The Illinois Attorney General needs to open an investigation into these crimes. Not to be pessimistic, but local law enforcement agencies are not going to get involved. The AG has power if state crimes are being committed. I know they are already fighting on other issues.

He'd look ridiculous if he stopped the hearing to file an article of impeachment against a British politician. Are you saying that the right shouldn't be challenged? Freedom of political speech is important in my book. He needs to be here on the floor saying exactly what he said.
