The peculiar thing is, as I’ve said before, most billionaires didn’t get to their situation by ignoring data. I don’t think that they really dismiss anthropogenic climate change as a hoax in their own minds. They just know that actual mitigation takes a long time. They want others to fix it.

Maybe the problem is that we need many more non-emitting nuclear power plants for our energy supply, both heat and electricity. Most of our energy needs are thermal.

Oh. I had the impression that the world lacked enough renewables. Maybe that’s not true. Germany had a reasonable supply of non-emitting generation. They turned off all those nuclear power plants and built wind turbines and coal burning power plants. Surprisingly, their economy dropped. Not.

But there’s comparatively little experience with HTGRs, I believe. There is also transferability of experience from other technologies that can’t be discounted. I’m enthusiastic about using just getting back in the game.

I hope that we have some judges in NC that similarly require actual observance of the law. People in our nation are ruled by the law, not some specious objective. It’s time this worthless, incompetent, useless administration figured that out.
