Again look at it from their perspective, Avowed was the last Obsidian RPG, nothing indicates that they can do a better job than Bethesda, at least until Outer Worlds 2 comes out, and if that isn't good either, I think it will be the nail in the coffin for Obsidian doing Fallout again.

I get what you mean because I also think New Vegas is much better than 3 and 4, but remember that 4 sold outrageously well, better than New Vegas, so in the eyes of the people calling the shots there's no need to hand it off to someone else because Bethesda is doing a great job.
