Just finished devouring this new work! What a great read. I've added you to my list of authors to follow for when you write something new and I can throw my money at you. I really enjoyed the nuanced play of food, culture, and politics along with the strong, well-rounded characters.

I didn't even know a double ear infection (in the same ear!) was possible until it happened to me. I'm crossing my fingers for you that your eardrum doesn't rupture from the pressure like mine did. Feel better soon, though God not loving you might take a bit more time from which to recover...

Think I kinda fell in love with some of the characters. I do all over again when I replay it after an adequate amount of time that some of the details become fuzzy. 10/10 game. I glad it led you to even more wonderful things in your life.

Oh hey! Thanks for mentioning Bookshop; I've never heard of it and I've been on the lookout for an alternative to the Bezos Behemoth.

Missed you as badly as a stormtrooper shoots a blaster.

I...I don't recall this part of the game.

Regardless, welcome and so glad to see you here!

Your passion is infectious, Jasmine! Eat it all up and never get full. Love hearing that you're enjoying it so much.

My wife and I were discussing this just this morning. We're right back to 1) wake up 2) wonder "What's he done/going to do to cause harm today"? mode. Trying to find the balance for the sake of sanity and health while staying informed is a Thing.

I'm wondering if the Ven diagram of people who say "goy is a slur" and "cis is a slur" is a perfect circle.

Yeah, but did you die?

PS5, but Xbox on back-up for exclusive games the other doesn't carry.

Thank you so much. I'll be sure to take a look, especially at the website :)

🤯 What a fantastic analogy!

It suddenly occurred to me to wonder, how do plants know what birds look like to be able to make part of themselves resemble a bird? I mean, they don't have eyes
...right?

Does your friend have an account here or on Instagram? I'd like to check out their other work if available.

My rock solid marriage with my wife began 18 years ago only because she found the Chemistry.com notification in her spam filter that an old account she never used had been pinged by yours truly.

Then I closed the door on them. The lady with him never said a word.

Has anyone been proselytized by the Seventh Day Adventists, or any other flavor of christianity for that matter, about basically enshrining a dictator??

At a minimum, religious groups that do this need their tax status snatched.

"You mean not have another election?" I asked.
"Exactly."
My jaw dropped. Just gobsmacked. I told him no, that we live in a democratic republic and have elections. That's what a democracy is. He started talking about Jesus and I cut him off to say I prefer a separation of church and state.

I left, cold-turkey, about...six weeks ago? Great decision, but I regret my impulsivity that I deleted it before curating my follows list so I at least could remember who to look for here. I hope the old place sags and collapses under the weight of its own deep-seated rot.

I saw it this morning and had such a rage out (grew up in Canada), that my wife worried I was going to give myself a stroke. These kinds of headlines are so irresponsible.

Absolutely awesome. I'm giddy with anticipation to hear how this goes!

I worked for 8 yrs in health ins in Canada in the 90s. I can't speak for any company but mine, but if it was in the contract, we paid unless there was a clear reason to investigate further. Now in the US, I've struggled sometimes to understand the policies I've had; the barriers are deliberate
