Stupefying. I guess being in a large group of like minded people will give protection…reminds me of the doctors conventions with no masks then them treating patients the next day..

Exactly why I still mask->N95-the sequelae are what cause me the most concern. Ppl say they had a "light case". The virus has gotten in-that is the "job" of the acute infection. We are going to be in the 7th year of this and still, the mis/disinformation spreads more rapidly than the pathogen..

Yep! And there are anti-virals for the flu as well. This year, there is apparently a mismatch between the strain of virus that was anticipated with the manufacture of the vaccine and the strain of flu that is making the rounds. I have heard that it can present with some severe symptoms...so caution!

Correct!!! However, I would want to know whether it is indeed Covid or the flu.I have iHealth flu A B and Covid tests. If C19, I have Paxlovid on hand-this I would take under the guidance of my doctor. If flu-I would, at my age, also report in and if needed take an anti viral.

This is so true and I do keep talking to people I know. Too often, their eyes glaze over. I am told that I am "obsessing" and "preoccupied". I also think this is why elections on the local level, the off years, are so important. In PA-major victories with regards to Depts of Education in Red areas..

The masks don't work, clot shot, immunity debt contingent...I work out at home-but my immune system doesn't need to fight viruses to "get stronger". So the mask stays on and the vaccines get done-after talking to the doctor about timing....

Animal reservoirs, at least to my knowledge, are probably the greatest source of infectious disease. Altering the migratory habits of, or disrupting the balance between predator and prey will alter the survival of many species as time moves forward. Continuing to roll the dice not a good strategy...
