I thought Blake made plenty of savvy moves (Dannault, Arvi, Moore, even Fiala - even if it cost Faber). The PLD overplay really set the team back. That was a major misread…

Think it came out that was more a Blake directive…don’t think sharks ever played that system. Really think it helps that Hiller & Blake were teammates. Hiller was able to dictate terms a little more (thankfully)

As a Kings fan, I just kinda feel like he did a good job developing many of the young players by putting them in positions to succeed. I think Byfield will come through this a better all around player…Todd’s a good coach especially for a team like Detroit

His trajectory/ceiling completely changed under Todd

Throw in Trevor Moore, Mikey Anderson, Sean Durzi, Matt Roy & even Byfield (still work in progress obviously)

Just think Kaliev is a very limited player.
