I am a Historian and love associating history with my ancestors. I descend from ancestors who were the original explorers of America. They fought in all the wars. They expanded across this land. I also have ancestors who came as late as the 1890’s.
Yep see it all the time. It is hard to get changes on these. They are usually transposed wrong.

Sounds like what we were taught in my elementary school in Southern Mississippi in the 1960’s. They are going backward 60’s years. Are they going to segregate the restrooms and water fountains next. I remember those too!

Yes, a Mormon friend taught me about family search site many years ago and that became my journey to go to college in my late 40’s to finishing my Masters Degree in history classes in my 60’s.
