Recovering agoraphobe, dabble with baking, cooking, guitar, painting mini's, video games, reading, puzzles. Trying to get better and putting myself out there, always down for a natter!
Pretty proud of myself, only took 17 runs (and 9.5 hours!) and a few of those were truly cursed in terms of options given to me, sub 10-hours on third time of meeting I escaped Tartarus. Hades 2 is Hades but morerer and that's definitely a compliment, really enjoying it.

The worst thing is, this was me trying to be even-handed and not indict them unreasonably.

Oh yeah that's the stuff!

Managed to find the element wire connections by removing the back panel of the oven, but I have 0 clue which one goes where, there are 5 holes, pretty sure the green/yellow is ground and goes to the middle connection, but I've no clue how the paired blue, blue/white wires or black and white wires go

Fucks sake my fucking oven has thrown another tantrum, 25 minutes into a 30-35 minute bake i could smell burning and frankly I would've rather it been a sign I was having a stroke. Absolutely incinerated the bottom of the loaf. Right temp on dial, right setting, convection w/no fan. Livid.

Today's loaf is a good one, which is odd cause it looked like it hadn't proofed at all and was going to come out awful. I swear bread was invented by Puck and designed to torture me, I seem to have no actual control or understanding of any step of the process. Thankfully even bad bread is quite good

I miss my Josh Kirby copies but they're still quite a joy to look at (and they're great to hold, which feels odd to say but they'll texture really is very pleasant). I'll be glad to one day have shelves holding all of them! Only 4 years of one a month...not often I let myself think that far ahead.

After a few pretty botched attempts recently, this tiger loaf came out *almost* perfect, despite the dough behaving quite oddly. So I continue to understand absolutely nothing about the whole process...but I can take that a lot better when the bread turns out this good.

"Yeah so...every episode is different, ya get it, Game Changer, and like, some are so wildly funny, some cerebral, some are quite moving, they are ALL great..and it's like, 5 quid a month, you should definitely get on it (and all the other shows!)...sorry what did you ask? Oh, ye, there's buttholes"

I ain't got nobody to tell, so I'm shouting it into the aether, we (finally) saw P3. Brain has been beating me up all week (which is loves to do after something good happens, twisted fucker) and I was getting a bit grouchy/frustrated with our (lack of) prog but this felt good. #FFXIV

Still wrestling with the temperature and overproofing a bit I think, but this is the best I've managed in a short while and it tastes great so I can't complain. Keep meaning to try non-overnight again while it's wam since I moved to overnight when the winter necessitated it, next time!

Played board games, Mario Kart, mini golf, visited the retro gaming museum, lounged in a pool on a sunny evening, ate good grub and had a good natter. Food for the soul, garden cultivated.

Nobody said nowt, so i remain unsorted. Third and final train, short stint to Loughborough, largely uneventful, slightly uncomfortable, increasingly fucking wamm but apart from a brief period on the Brum to Leicester train my brain has been surprisingly quiet. Suits me.

Pop's bday dinner these eve, so I've pottered up a few hours ahead of schedule to catch some rays, do some readin' and listen to some tunes in the blazing sun. Not a bad arvo, ey?

My Christmast gift to myself showed up today and I'm extremely excited to dig into it, thank you @jacobgeller.com, for the videos, for the thoughts they provoke, and now for this! A copy of your book is now at home in a tiny mid-Wales town!

None of these words are in the bible. Yurt Glamper sounds like an artist who makes paintings with his own shit. My doctor told me busting my yurtel is the key to good prostate health as I reach middle age. What are we even doing here???

Genuinely was cackling laughing as I made this. Actually mildly impressed with how much I managed to learn and do in a very short period of time, some of the effects I've managed (using undoubtedly *awful* processes/technique to anyone who knows this stuff) actually turned out really quite decent.

Fucked about making more video stinger/overlay things for streaming yday, including a set for hype trains which I don't/won't ever get 'cause I stream to a handful of friends basically, but I had the idea and couldn't resist, very funny they previewed the Ghost Train/Suplex MtG cards today

Wanted to make a dumb meme for my pal who always says "this is the one" knowing full well it really, really isn't. Had a big idea, that was proving *way* too involved, so I started at the other end and got something useable out of it, maybe I'll work out the rest but this has me cackling anyway.

Anyway every year since I've placed a new jokiperuna in the river because it makes me laugh and I don't think I need better reason than that. Today was the day and the weather was truly glorious. Mission success.

A few years ago I spotted a potato sat in the river at one of my favourite spots to loiter while pottering about, I dubbed it the jokiperuna and wrote a poem about it in Finnish since I was learning that at the time. #jokiperuna
