And this is the daftness - you’ll end up with both knees needing surgery rather than just one. I had assumed private care would be more optimistic & useful.

Nightmare. My friend has been battling this argument for years, despite being a dancer & the impact of her busted knees meaning she cannot exercise so is gaining weight & having further knock-on health impacts on other joints. It’s mad. You need it now! and they definitely last longer than 10!
