As Rs use the Kirk to suppress free speech and the right to peacefully protest it is always good to look at the data. I would include the DOJ study showing same results but Trump had it pulled along with data on food insecurity, climate changes, and more. Demagogues hate data.

So Trump screams DC is “crime-ridden”as an excuse to send federal agents into the district. Once again he lying through his teeth. Here is the actual data Lowest violent crime rate in 6 years. No wonder he and his cronies want to destroy every data agency in govt.

Good memory. Knocking doors in the recent Milwaukee Supreme Court race with Common Power colleagues. We sent Elon Musk home with his tail between his legs and $20m poorer. It was cold. Made lugging my Antarctic parka home from the Nat Geo expedition worth it. And my colleagues could always find me😀

A fact check for those who think highly of DOGE going after all that government “fat”. In the 1980s (under anti-government Reagan) federal spending was 21% of the GDP. What was it in 2024?

Make your guess. … WAIT FOR IT…

Answer 23%.

So all the DOGE chaos/Medicaid/SNAP cuts are for what again?

Just returned from knocking on more than 8000 doors with my Common Power colleagues in WI. Democracy won. The oligarch lost.

Visiting the memorials remembering the genocide of the Khmer Rouge in Cambodia we saw classes learning about it to ensure “never again”.

Quite the contrast to the US -our holocausts (slavery and genocide against indigenious people) are hidden and even celebrated in our schools and elsewhere
