FYI, in my area of northern VA, several churches have little free food pantries on their properties. Also, at least one couple has one in their yard. Your neighborhood might have a social media page, with members who can supply info if asked.

I'm nearly 12 yrs past start of treatment for invasive ductal. It was so interesting to see how protocol for that had changed in the roughly 10 yrs between mine & yours. Advances are made so quickly that a yr later I would not have required radiation.

Said goodbye to my fourth kitty just after I retired. She was 19. It never gets easier.

I would get it FOR YEARS in left side of my face, most usually in upper or lower eyelid. Wud keep rx of Acyclovir handy always. Started late teens, not dx until mid-30s. Thankfully, finally got vax which seems to be holding. All my sympathies to you.

What took me aback the most was constipation. Of all the expected effects that wasn't on the list. So maybe discretely & privately, with her ok--Amazon delivery?--highly recommend having Fleet enemas already at hand, and stool softeners of her choice if this becomes an issue.
