Record spending because we bought more things, or record spending because we bought the usual number of things but now they cost more?

There’s one party who explicitly states this as their goal in their party platform. Maybe letting them win more will teach the other party that’s not what we want.

Who wouldn’t like the last name Cupcakes? I’d never change it either.

It’s an interesting strategy to fund the entire gov on sales taxes when your 2 main population centers are on the border with other states. A 20 min drive gets the vast majority of KC to Kansas, where they already have lower sales taxes.

That’s how I interpreted it

Imagine spending 10 hours a week in the gym and you haven’t enjoyed food in a decade, just to put on these pants

The given amounts of spices, herbs, and seasonings of any kind are just starting points. The angels demand more.

I am ok with Connecticut’s choice

I hear you, and understand the hard choices. I just feel like we are able to move some politicians in our direction and some we aren’t. In the absence of someone I agree with 100%, I’ll vote for the 80% person and do what I can to move them closer.

I immediately think pelvic floor

In the case of trans rights, think of who you are most likely to move on the topic. Obama came around soon after getting elected. The chances of any GOP politician coming around to support trans rights is basically 0.

As a gay person who was alive in the 90s and early 2000s, it was like playing chess. I voted for people (Obama included) who didn’t support gay marriage, knowing that it was better to move the needle in the right direction. They appointed the right judges to get the job done.

They had enough to hire someone to pre-chew the turkey, at least.

Yes, mostly because I hate to be the person answering the question of how long til I get home. She can look at my location and see I’m 10 minutes away. I’m probably not going to answer a text if I’m driving anyway.

It looks store bought and transferred to the serving dishes

The turkey is already chewed?

One useful reason is that we can see if the other has left work yet. If I need to know if my wife remembers she needs to take our daughter to volleyball tonight, I can look to see if she left work yet. Or when the kids are home alone, they can look to see if a parent is on their way home.

No I mean how will people not enrolling in health ins force hospitals & doctors to lower the prices they charge health insurance companies?

She has chronic medical conditions. Not having insurance would hurt her far more than it would hurt the ins industry. In fact, it would help their bottom line.

What will they cave in to?
