Cheese and soccer and funny things that aren't mean spirited. Left, liberal, progressive, and such.
Holy shit that last statement is one of the worst things I've ever heard anyone say. "What's the future going to be? It's not going to be conventional fun...The phone will just display the pixels and make the sounds it anticipated you would most like to hear." That is a sci-fi horror future.

League will be on break from Mid December to Mid February. They already start at the end of February. They said that 91% of dates MLS currently plays on will remain the same, so it's really only adding one week in February, and one or maybe 2 in December. They can schedule around the coldest days.

I'm just glad it's not my job to make this decision.

I hear you. I just selfishly don't want Atlanta, Charlotte, and Nashville to get broken up. Honestly, whatever happens that preserves that is fine with me.

You mean geographically, or as in they never spend any money and would be in a division with a bunch of teams who do?

Kida weird for the Pacific Northwest, but I think the most regions stay together this way.
November 12, 2025 at 8:44 PM
A friend came up with this. Think I like it better.
Vancouver, Seattle, Portland, Minnesota, SKC, STL
Galaxy, LAFC, San Diego, SJ, RSL, Colorado
Austin, Dallas, Houston, Chicago, Cincy, Columbus.
Nashville, Charlotte, DC, ATL, Orlando, Miami.
Toronto, Montreal, New England, NYCFC, NYRB, Philly.

Some regions are going to get split up, it's inevitable. It'll be interesting to see what they come up with.

The article in The Athletic says division winners would be guaranteed a playoff spot.

Atlanta fan here. No thank you for splitting up us, Nashville, and Charlotte.
November 12, 2025 at 8:26 PM
I'm not minimizing the issues northern cities would have with the change, but Nashville, Atlanta, and Charlotte will be fine playing games into late November/early December.

TBF, that cold snap is going to last 2 days and is not the norm this time in November.
November 11, 2025 at 4:27 PM
I'm definitely not saying this is a guaranteed success, but Tata is objectively a very good manager. The team will at least have an identity again, which I am very much looking forward to.

Managing skill shouldn't decline like a player's physical skills, at least.

I don't generally have hot cocoa mix, so I'll just put sugar in baking cocoa and eat it with a spoon sometimes.
