Educational writer/editor. Grew up in the middle of the country, but live in NYC now. There's perspective from having lived/voted in both venues...
One of the early J6 pieces of evidence that the media barely touched on was a trunk full of testosterone and syringes found in participant's parked car.

Is Wiles trying to be the first one he fires this term?

This is a drop in the current self-serving corruption bucket, but I appreciate that you researched and obtained the information.

I wasn’t on Captain Sully’s flight to NC because of that scenario…

She has the best lines in the entire series. One of my (many) favs: "What is a weekend?"

Just noting that Trump reverted to the childish name “Sleepy Joe” right after the NYT finally dinged him for something — calling him out for sleeping during meetings. I suspect he just grasped at the autopen accusation to use that moniker.

Their concession for a detailed rundown of Trump being a low energy president.

When it comes to Trump negotiating/manipulating, I'm sure the assumption is always that it's worth trying

Caring means thinking ahead months, years, decades from now when the entire planet is no longer sustainable. Most people can't think past next weekend...

Yeah, but I'm not sure there's all that much more wind than a lot of other places — I went out to run errands in NYC a few days ago and had a hard time walking it was so windy. Wind was particularly strong that day, but we do get a fair amount of wind here too.

It was a great place to grow up. Conservative (it's Kansas, after all). But for a smallish city, it's nice. There's something to be said for midwestern life.

Yes to all of those. I grew up there. Parks have always been nice, and they've kept up with food and coffee.

Does that mean Trump thinks the Washington/Lincoln ticket would poll at 13%

True that letting Congress have whatever they are "legally entitled to" is probably how this plays out (for now), with major limitations. But am I wrong to think this weakens his position in the most Americans' perception, & could easily give rise to more dissatisfaction with the GOP, in particular?

My fav quote from this PN post:
"Observing Johnson in recent months has been like watching an especially tedious & extended Road Runner cartoon, where the Coyote fashions intricate knots of congressional procedure in order to tie himself, over the course of weeks, to a giant stack of lit dynamite."

It may end up being true that he's the best option, but he reminds me of Cuomo too much. Maybe it's because he's younger, but he seems to be slightly better at covering up his sleaziness. But he was married to Kimberly Guilfoyle ffs.
