I attempted cooking a potato rosti (again).
The good news was I got the outside crispy. However it still didn’t firm up and I over salted it.
Not sure what I am doing wrong. Maybe too much butter this time?

Dinner was a Chinese style braised beef rib.
The flavours were so intense. I may need to dial it back a bit next time.

I made ji dan bing, a Chinese breakfast street food for brunch with a friend yesterday.
A dough and egg flatbread covered with sweet and spicy sauces and wrapped around a lettuce leaf.
I will definitely be cooking them again.

Cooked a recipe labelled as Chinese-style spicy beef salad. The result was sensational.

My long weekend has consisted of hiding at home and making various stocks from scraps saved in the freezer.
So far I have made beef, roast duck and a spicy chicken stock.
